Thinking of Spring

It's so lovely here today. The snow is melting away {for now} and I'm starting to get ahead of the season.

I can just imagine spring blossoms....flower boxes....galoshes....

Patience is a virtue. Patience is a virtue. Patience is a virtue.

My parents are very talented gardeners, and most all my knowledge has been gleaned from them.

The rest has all been trial and error.

Might I suggest a petunia? They bloom beautifully, look great cascading from a flower box, and are pretty easy to keep alive. :)

And now I must add 'patience is a virtue'...lol
We too are having spring like weather these days and welcome the change from snowy and cold weather.
Ahhh...flowers,trailing petunias are so pretty and so little work, I can hardly wait till planting season..

Yeah, and darn if they don't keep sending me seed catalogs, making me all antsy and disgruntled. January thaw is quickly followed by February FREEZE. Excuse me...February DEEP freeze

Isnt it funny how we do this? We pine for a season, and the second it's over we're ready for the next. I'm glad I'm not the only one... I find myself buying lots of flowers at Kroger's. :)
